Calling all Gastronomes! Photoworks Gallery announces a Call for Entries for FOODIES, our Fall 2017 Photography Exhibition. This exhibit will highlight the good, the bad and the tasty of our cultural obsession with eating as a hobby.
- Submit up to 5 high resolution jpg images to photoworks.gallery@gmail.com.
- There is $40 Entry Fee for up to 5 images (payable at our website or by check)

About Debra Moser
Former director of Vis Arts (formerly Rockville Arts Place, Debra Moser has guided arts organizations and businesses in growth strategies and is a co-founder and owner of of Central Farm Markets and MeatCrafters, Inc. Debra has a professional certification in pastry from L’Academie de Cuisine and is an avid traveler and photographer, participating in several exhibitions. Debra has written articles and contributed photographs about food and nutrition for local and national outlets such as Jewish Food Experience and Edible DC.
Instructions for Submission
- Entry Fee: The $40 Entry Fee allows the photographer to submit up to 5 jpg images. PLEASE NOTE: If submitting more than 5 images, please submit an additional entry fee.
- How To Pay? Please pay the Entry Fee using the PAYPAL BUTTON below. Or send a check (made payable to PHOTOWORKS) to: Photoworks Foodies Exhibition, 7300 MacArthur Boulevard, Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo, MD 20812.
- What Images Will Be Accepted? Photoworks will accept digital, film, cellphone, and alternative camera or alternative process images.
- How Do I Submit My Photo(s)? Please email your images to photoworks.gallery@gmail.com before August 1, 2017 at 11:59PM.
- IMPORTANT Info About Your Email! The subject line of your email should read “Foodies Photography Exhibition (Insert Your Name Here)”
- What Format/Size Should My Photos Be? Make sure your images are in a jpg or jpeg format. The file size of each image should be no wider than 1600 pixels and no taller than 1200 pixels (medium quality).
- DEADLINE: Submit your photos on or before August 1st at 11:59PM. Photoworks will let you know if your work is chosen for the exhibition on August 25, 2017 and artwork will need to be framed and delivered to Photoworks by September 12, 2017.
